1996 DUCATI 900SS / 944cc

Modified beyond my imagination I could not take my eyes off
of it.  It was at Ducati NY and a few times I went by the
dealership just to 'again' look it over.  Then one afternoon I got
an email from a friend who said, check out the craigslist ad ...
It was this bike for sale, as a discounted price.  It was 4pm
and I had the night to think it over ... I was at the dealer before
it opened, waiting to leave my deposit before running to a
meeting I was going to be late for.

Where do I begin describing this bike.  To say that it was a
labor of love would be a description of its past owner.  It is a
SP model and has its hung rear brake caliper and carbon
fenders. Everything was addressed, suspension, motor,
brakes, finishing, paint ... the works.

The motor is a 944cc high compression motor with 41mm flat
slides, there is a full spagetti exhaust with carbon cans, clutch
is a STM slipper clutch, the lines are braided.

The rear swing arm is after market, the shock is Fox and the
forks are incredible.  The tail section is carbon fiber and there
is a triangle on each side of the seat without paint.

More to come ... Cannot wait to spend time on this bike.
